At Pura Vida Sky Hostel, located in Old Town, you will feel the bohemian touch in the day, but also enjoy the vibe of the nightlife. The doors are open for passionate travelers, energetic, eager for fun people. The staff will be the same, we promise you.

Besides being a nice hostel, the 5th floor Pura Vida Sky Bar is the icing on the cake.  You have an amazing view above the Old Town and the best sunsets you can see.

Inside, there is a cozy place, with books, music and good vibes. And if you’re bored of reading, walking down the streets and partying, you can have a relaxed evening, cooking in our shared kitchen that is equipped with all you need.

You will find in this emblematic building, situated at the crossroads of the main pedestrian streets of the old town, Lipscani and Smardan. The hostel is within walking distance from the two most important metro stops, which connect you to all areas of the city. Just by going down the stairs you’ll stumble upon hundreds of bars, pubs, restaurants, clubs, shops, art galleries, theaters. Also, in within walking distance from us you can find the National History museum, the Palace of Parliament, the most chic park in Bucharest – Cișmigiu and many more of Bucharest’s important landmarks.

Rooms:  dorms with 4, 6 and 8 beds and dorms for females only which are prepared to host up to 66 persons.

Sports & natureBucharest has 5 major parks and additional 5 smaller, the largest is Herastrau with a surface of 11o ha surrounding a 74 ha lake. The road that covers the park is more thank 5km very popular among joggers. "Tineretului" Park is well known for sport activities, there are several football and basketball courts that can be used for free or small fee, as well as roller/bike thematic park or even free outdoor fitness.
